Pleats Please by Issey Miyake is a women's Eau de Toilette with a rich floral character. This creation responds to the firm's need to create a fragrance capable of expressing its vision of fashion; so, together with the creation of an incredible collection dominated by folds and volumes, Issey Miyake decided to launch this perfume.
This fragrance was created in 2011 by perfumer Aurelien Guichard. For his collections Issey Miyake takes inspiration from elements that are significant to him: on certain occasions they have been elements such as water and pure air, in this case instead it is the turn of his passion for fashion. It is a modern essence, full of energy and with a very optimistic worldview. A perfectly balanced aroma between West and East, with a high rate of acceptance by the public.
Its olfactory pyramid reveals an essence of enveloping and pure femininity. Its beginning full of sweetness is dominated by nashi, a cheerful aroma, coming from the East, which gives way to a floral heart, a little romantic and silky, formed by a bouquet of peony, sweet pea and indole, which here it shows all its power. To conclude, its base adopts a creamier tone, thanks to the union of patchouli, cedar, vanilla absolute and white musk.
EXPRESSION OF FREEDOM. The Japanese designer always shows his desire for absolute freedom, which he also shapes in this perfume. A freedom that is expressed through movement and textures.
